USC Career Center's Online Resources: Accessible via ConnectSC

Art Search - The national employment bulletin includes full-time and part-time internships in arts administration, production, and arts education.

Big Interview - A powerful AI-enhanced interviewing preparation tool providing hands-on experience with mock interviews specifically tailored to industry, job, and experience level.

Bridge: Worldwide Music - Online music connection curated by the New England Conservatory. Provides opportunities for musicians in performance, teaching, and administration roles.

Candid Career - Online job-readiness program enhances job skillsets. Created for USC students, it provides connections with the Trojan Network for alumni mentorship. Modules completed are notated on student's transcript and will generate a certificate of completion.

Career Shift - Helps students and alumni identify millions of contacts and job opportunities, leveraging the power of networking, tapping the hidden job market, and finding recruiters from diverse industries.

Career Access Resource Library (CARL) - A comprehensive research tool equipped with curated job sites, internships, fellowships, and graduate schools.

Case Questions Interactive - Provides skill exercises needed to perform well and master case interviews in consulting and business management. Students gain practice and mastery with math questions including percentages, weighted averages, break evens, and net present values, plus multiplication with lots of zeros.

Connecting Majors to Careers: What Can I Do With This Career? - Helps students identify career areas and industries including related professional associations and poplar job search links.

D&B Hoovers - Offers information on organizations worldwide; enables a search by company location, size, industry, people, financial data, and specialty criteria. 

Environmental Career Opportunities - Provides access to environmental jobs and internships in non-profits, corporations, professional firms, institution, federal, state, and local governments. 

Firsthand (formerly known as Vault) - Career management research tool for students to explore careers through industry career guides, and articles highlighting topics that include job search preparation, resumes networking, interviewing, "A Day in the Life, " job search strategies for international students, and career readiness.

GoinGlobal - Career and employment resource that includes job search by country., global and U.S. cities. H-1B visa database, country resume writing guides employment trends, salary ranges, and cultural/interviewing advice.

Interstride - An interactive career platform designed by international students, for international students to enhance career exploration and their job-search experience.

Libguide - Research profession associations, companies, industries, executives, or build lists of companies. It also includes access to USC libraries. 

Opportunities in Public Affairs - Provides full-time internships on Capitol Hill, including legislative, public affairs, and public relations postings in the Washington DC area and other major cities.

Smart Resume (Powered by VMOCK) - A powerful AI resume critique tool providing real time custom resume feedback for all students tailored to different jobs and industries. The platform offers feedback on resume content and format and is available 24/7.

The UCAN Internship Exchange - A dynamic database listing many domestic and international internships, fellowships, and short-term opportunities. Offers an extensive database of listings with a wide geographic distribution. Students can gain experience in their career choice and develop connections with employers. Students need to register separately for this system and use their USC email during registration.

Trojan Network - USC's online professional networking and mentor platform. Alumni share career and industry related experiences and information with current students. Student gain valuable advice from alumni during brief chat sessions, informational interviews, and mentorships. 

UNIWORLD Online - A comprehensive global business database with up-to-date contact information for multinational companies with headquarters in over 200 countries and 20,000 industries. 

Versatile PhD - An online PhD and postdoctoral community dedicated to non-academic careers in STEM and Humanities fields, including career discovery, an overview of non-academic career by discipline, including job search, job postings, resumes, cover letters, narratives, networking opportunities, and webinars.

Your Next Step - Provides access to career assessments, clarifies career goals, and helps students and alumni develop professional resumes and cover letters, as well as prepare for interviews. It also allows students to create a network, access jobs and implement a strategic job search plan.
