Check out this scholarship opportunity from San Diego County Women Transportation Seminar!
For 2017, WTS San Diego County will be awarding the following 8 scholarships to successful female applicants that are pursuing a career in transportation:
-One $5,000 award granted to one graduate student
-One $2,500 award granted to one graduate student
-One $5,000 award granted to one undergraduate student
-One $2,500 award granted to one undergraduate student
-Two $1,250 awards granted to two local community college students
-Two $1,250 awards granted to two high school seniors
The minimum criteria for selection are as follows:
a) Open to Women
b) GPA of 3.0 or Higher
c) Current enrollment in a transportation related field; a. Community college, undergraduate and graduate students – must be enrolled in a transportation related program at time of application submission; b. Graduating high school seniors – must be planning to enroll in a transportation related program for the Fall 2017 semester
d) Plans to Pursue a Career in a Transportation-Related Field

The scholarship is competitive and based on the applicant’s specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills.
