The California Science Center seeks a Curator, Technology to join our exhibit development team and oversee the creation and implementation of new technology and engineering exhibitions. Qualified candidates will hold a Ph.D. in engineering, technology, or a related scientific field. The Curator, Technology will apply their technical expertise to the exciting and creative challenge of developing fun and memorable experiences that communicate science effectively to a diverse audience.
Curators come to the Science Center from many different backgrounds. Some already have experience working in museums or science centers, while others have developed science communication skills through other means such as teaching, science writing, or industry communications. We seek candidates who are looking for rewarding work where they can share their love of engineering and technology with a large and diverse audience.
This is a State of California civil service position. It pays a salary of $9,467/month – $10,751/month and includes comprehensive benefits.
