Responsibilities will include:

•Supports the configuration or design of propulsion/Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) systems and components to meet all vehicle design and performance criteria by utilizing approved engineering design tools and processes.
•Supports the definition, coordination and control of functional and physical interfaces between the propulsion system and the vehicle to produce optimum vehicle design and performance.
•Supports the establishment of optimal system design by conducting trade studies.
•Supports the development and advancement of concepts for future propulsion/Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) systems and components by developing and applying technologies and methods to advanced vehicle concepts to meet current and future operational/customer requirements.

Qualifications:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

 

Required Skill / Experience / Education:

Bachelor’s Degree

Experience on a propulsion-related product or service

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor’s and 2 or more years’ experience or a

Master’s degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study,

in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required,

Accreditation standard.
