D&D Construction, a premier Construction Company specializing in drilling, shoring, foundation and all structural concrete. Our company is sought out for difficult hillside projects. We are currently looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our team as an entry-level Estimator / Project Engineer. The ideal candidate will need to have an understanding of foundations, drilling, retaining walls, shoring, podium decks, hillside projects, multi-level concrete projects, etc.
Position Details:
- Recent or Upcoming graduate
- Starting salary will be around $55k – $70k
- Entry-level
- Training provided
- Year-Round, Full-Time
Qualifications:
The right candidate will have experience in:
- Reading structural, civil & architectural plans
- Be able to estimate concrete quantities
- Good math skills
- Evaluate soils reports
- Ability to accurately bid foundations, retaining walls, etc…
- Prepare contracts, RFI’s and monitor changes during construction
- Customer interaction
- Able to take direction and follow company procedures
- Proficient in Word / Excel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Planswift or Bluebeam software
