The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is hiring graduates or soon to be graduating seniors for an entry-level Quality Assurance position to assist various teams in supporting process improvements and implementing Quality Tools and Systems.
Qualifications
- Knowledge in one or more related fields of the following areas: Web programming in HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Django, database programming (MySQL), Microsoft Access.
- Familiarity with both mechanical and electronic hardware assurance methods (inspection, test, analysis).
- General knowledge and some application of principles in one or more of the following areas: Quality Engineering, Configuration Management, Inspection techniques (non-destructive, electronics, mechanical), and general knowledge of applicable industry and standards in design, engineering, fabrication, integration, test and launch of space-flight hardware.
- Able to write reports and discrepancy descriptions, analyze situations, recommend solutions and demonstrate effective written/verbal communication and computer skills.
