Nucleate is a student-led nonprofit organization that facilitates life science company formation at over 60 academic institutes nationwide by offering free educational programming and resources to the next generation of biotech leaders.
Are you a graduate student, medical student or postdoc interested in learning how great science leads to life science ventures? Join us for Nucleate Insights, a journal club series on the academic projects that became successful biotech startups, led by the founders themselves.
Each session will feature a biotech founder, CEO, and/or professor responsible for advancing an innovative technology. A small group of trainees from across the country will be selected to participate in each interactive session. Participants will be expected to read a research article selected by the founder and complete a short summary presentation outlining the innovation and broader biotechnology impact. Slides from one participant will be chosen by the Insights team for discussion during the session alongside the company founder.
Students or trainees currently engaged in research are encouraged to apply.
