Unilever, one of the world’s biggest FMCG companies, is seeking applicants for its Future Leaders Program to develop tomorrow’s leaders, today. This 3-year Graduate Program is designed to prepare Unilever’s Future Leaders (UFL) by giving them challenging jobs/roles that prepare them for business leadership roles. The program encompasses rotations within and across functions in an accelerated learning environment. This includes international stints, extended leadership contact, formal training and professional development.

Unilever will provide each Unilever Future Leader with:

  1. Individual Development Plan (IDP)

    In order to develop outstanding successor(s) to the company’s management positions, Unilever will provide each MT with his/her own IDP.  Each MT will work in a real business environment with real business assignments with clear job and development targets from Day One.

  2. Job Rotation and International Experience

    During the three-year Management Trainee Programme period, Unilever will provide each MT with job rotation opportunities, functionally or cross-functionally assignments, to help them understand the business. At the same time, MTs also have many opportunities to work with the international team, get involved with different types of global/regional projects.  Exceptional MTs will have the opportunity to have overseas rotations, so that they can gain international work experience at a very early stage in their careers.

  3. Mentor and Buddy Plan

    To help MTs adapt quickly to the company environment, understand company culture and build up internal networking, former MTs are assigned to become Buddies of new MTs.   In addition, each MT will also have a Mentor, who is usually from the senior management team. Mentors will share their experience and advice, so as to facilitate the MTs’ growth and provide them with guidance on their career development.

  4. First-class Training Programs

    Unilever will provide MTs with first-class training programs, covering professional skills, general skills and leadership skills, to improve their working effectiveness and efficiency.  Our great training investment will enable the MTs to develop rapidly.

  5. Leading Compensation & Benefit

    Unilever will provide MTs with leading compensation in the industry. We offer competitive salary packages.   Salary increases will be based on yearly performance evaluations.
