Anthropic is offering a paid Fellows program. This is an exciting opportunity for recent or soon-to-be graduates, especially for students graduating in December.
The program runs over four months and with an expected start date in January 2027. There may be some flexibility in the start time.
You do not need need a PhD, previous ML experience, or published research papers to apply. The main technical requirement is strong Python programming ability, along with an interest in Anthropic’s mission of reducing the potentially catastrophic consequences of advanced AI systems.
There are several different tracks available, including:
- AI Safety Fellows
- AI Security Fellows
- ML Systems & Performance Fellows
- Reinforcement Learning Fellows
- The Anthropic Institute Fellows, focused on economics and policy
