Event Format:

The Viterbi Networking Event will be held outdoors with high-top tables and open networking. NOTE: There will NOT be assigned tables with space for swag like a career fair, and no table will be assigned to any one organization. This format encourages open networking between all students and representatives. If you would like to bring any items, you must be able to carry them to the event and leave with them. Viterbi Career Connections will not be providing shipping or storage (we recommend nothing more than business cards, small pamphlets, etc.). 

Amenities: Complimentary food and refreshments will be served, and a select number of football tickets will be provided to representatives who attend.

Why Attend a Networking Event?

• Gain access to the incredibly talented and diverse Viterbi student population in an open, networking format.
• Provide advice and mentorship for students as they explore career paths and practice networking.
• Share information about your industry or organization with different students.
• Continue to recruit for open positions.
• Build a pipeline of talent for Spring recruiting.

Event Location & Logistics:

• Location: Epstein Family Plaza at USC Viterbi School of Engineering
• Check-in Time: 3:30 pm
  • We invite you to check in as early as 3:00 pm to enjoy food and refreshments before the event begins.
• Event Time: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
• Representatives: Have all representatives added to your registration form so that they will receive the logistics email.
• Details: Food and drinks provided for all attendees. Dress code: Casual. We recommend dressing in USC or Viterbi branded attire or your company polo/shirt. This event is outdoors. Heating lamps will be placed around the event, but wearing warm clothes is recommended.

After you register:

• We will email you the next steps with instructions and ask for any additional information.
• A parking permit code will be provided to you. Provide the code to the parking attendant to receive your parking pass.
• You'll receive a calendar invitation with the logistics and how to access the event. We recommend you share this with all attendees to have in their calendar. 

On the date and time of the Networking Event:

• Plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the event to allow for parking, walking, finding the room, and set up.
• Enter campus at the Downey Way entrance - on the cross street of Vermont Ave. and W 36th Place.
• A parking code will be emailed to you and included in a calendar invitation for the event. Please register your car using the parking code.
• Enter the parking garage on the right-hand side of the campus after entering the Downey Way parking entrance.
• Check-in location is at the Epstein Family Plaza.
• After you check-in, you will be taken to the Lawn and openly network with students from Viterbi.

Safe Return to Campus

USC has taken several significant actions to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, similar to steps the city of Los Angeles and other local municipalities have announced.
