How to Get Hired Series

The How to Get Hired Series is a multi-day event that helps undergraduate and graduate engineering students develop key professional skills while connecting with Viterbi industry partners and alumni. This series provides a great opportunity for you to gain insights from industry experts on what it takes to get hired and prepare for this fall's recruiting season. Employers and Alumni host workshops and provide industry feedback on students' resumes and interview answers during the Resume Review Day and Mock Interview Day.

The Fall 2024 Get Hired Series will be offered on-campus and virtually.

This series is only available in the Fall semester.

As part of Viterbi's How to Get Hired Series, Resume Review Day provides students an opportunity to receive guidance and feedback on their resumes from industry partners and Viterbi alumni. This event is designed for students to gain valuable insights and build professional connections.

Students will have the opportunity to:

Get tailored feedback to improve their resume.
Learn from industry experts and alumni who can provide valuable tips and advice on resume writing.
Engage in open networking with industry professionals and alumni.

Registration: Pre-registration is required. Students will receive a direct email invite from Viterbi Career Connections.

Resume reviews are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

As part of Viterbi's How to Get Hired Series, Mock Interview Day provides students with valuable opportunities to connect with industry experts and Viterbi alumni. This event will help refine your behavioral interviewing and networking skills, boost your confidence, and equip you with the tools needed to excel in future job interviews.

Students will have the opportunity to:

Practice interview skills with Viterbi corporate partners to gain practical experience.
Discover techniques for answering both traditional and behavioral interview questions.
Receive feedback on all aspects of interviewing.
Engage in open networking with industry professionals and alumni.
