Riverside County Flood Control & Water Conservation District is currently recruiting for Summer 2025 interns in 4 sections such as Operations, Developer Services, Government Affairs and Emergency Management and Design!
The District is a public agency that is funded by Riverside County tax dollars whose fundamental mission is to protect people and property from flooding through responsible and efficient stormwater management.

Program Highlights:
Paid internship opportunity.
On-the-job training and experience with a focus on mentorship and development of oral, written, and technical skills.
Work closely with one of our divisions such as Operations, Developer Services, Emergency Management & Government Affairs etc.
Prepare and assist in creation of plans, cost, estimates, reports, surveys, and evaluations.
Qualifications:
Majoring in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering
Experience or coursework in hydrology, hydraulics, and fluids dynamics preferred
Junior or Senior level
GPA Requirement >3.00
Leadership skills and extracurricular activities a bonus
