UPC and HSC Beyond the PhD Conference – Thursday, October 16th from 8:30am-5:00pm, PT

PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and staff from all disciplines are welcome to attend.

• If you are on the HSC campus, we recommend attending HSC’s in-person conference (https://forms.gle/zbvStZTw4qUyk6Xy5) and joining UPC’s Zoom conference from 1:00pm-5:00pm. However, if you are unable to attend in person, you are welcome to participate in the full UPC virtual conference, even as an HSC student.

We will move directly into industry breakouts following the keynote, so it’s important you log in on time and turn your cameras on to fully engage with speakers and participants.We have a great lineup of alumni, employers, and industry professionals who are generously sharing their time and insights (view link above to see speakers). You will have opportunities for one-on-one and small group discussions to ask questions about career paths and opportunities.

  In the afternoon, we will host panels, career chats, and peer-to-peer networking sessions. We highly encourage you to take advantage of these interactive events. There will also be opportunity drawings throughout the day.
