The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is hiring – and hosting a series of webinars for potential and current applicants. Read on for more details about the DHS, the webinar series and how to apply.

The threats and challenges facing the Department and the nation are complex and constantly evolving. Now more than ever, DHS must recruit, develop, and retain a talented and diverse workforce. As part of this commitment, DHS is seeking qualified individuals to fill mission-critical and mission support positions in: law enforcement, business operations, mission support, immigration, travel security, prevention and response, cyber, information technology, engineering, intelligence, emergency management, and many more.

Over the next several weeks, DHS will host webinars for potential and current applicants to provide information on DHS career opportunities, direct hire authorities, veterans’ preference and other hiring authorities for veterans, effective resume writing, how to create a profile on USAJOBS, and how to make a resume searchable.
