FAA Airway Transportation Systems Specialists Gateways Internship

 

The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) is currently recruiting students for their Airway Transportation Systems Specialists Gateways Internship Program for various locations across the United States.
The Gateways Internship program provides students with the opportunity to join a diverse team of talented and dedicated technical professionals. Selected students will receive hands-on, practical work experience while learning about the national airspace system. They will learn about and use safety protocols including Operational Risk Management—they will also use personal protective equipment. Over the course of the program, the students will obtain an in-depth understanding of how the facilities, systems, and equipment support the daily operations of the NAS. Students interested in computer science, electronics technology, or electrical systems, will be sure to find a fulfilling career as an ATSS.
In order to be eligible for the Gateways Internship Program, you must have the following:

  • United States Citizenship
  • Be enrolled in an accredited educational institution on a least a part-time basis
  • Be in good academic standing
