Fellows in the Vida program will have an opportunity to participate in a myriad of roles across science, medicine, business, strategy, operations and investing. The fellowship typically ranges from four to six months in our downtown Boston or Century City locations. Vida is flexible on the fellowship duration, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.
Who can apply for the program?
With a strong passion for medical innovation and entrepreneurial drive, the ideal candidate will embrace Vida’s bold mission to identify and invest in cutting-edge science with the potential to meaningfully impact patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preferred Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in life sciences completed/in progress. Strong translational focus is favorable.
- Additional business experience a plus (e.g. M.B.A., business development, operations, finance, consulting).
- Engaged and curious learner that can quickly get up to speed in technical areas outside core expertise.
- Strong presentation and communication skills (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency).
- Self-starter; ability to drive initiatives while keeping key team members informed.
- Collaborative approach.
