Don’t forget to apply to the Women’s Association of Venture & Equity (WAVE) annual Women in Alternatives Career Forum! The Forum takes place on Nov. 9, 2019 in New York City and aims to broaden the funnel of women into the alternatives industry, while providing a setting where candidates can learn, engage, and network with industry veterans across the spectrum of careers.
Students currently in undergraduate or graduate programs or those that have graduated in the prior three years are welcome to apply. Applications are due by September 20, and candidates will be notified by October 7 if they have been accepted. Candidates will apply via the “Events” section on WAVE’s website once the application period is open (www.women-wave.org). Unfortunately, given the high volume of candidates that WAVE receives for this event, WAVE cannot provide feedback on submissions that were not accepted.
WAVE provides complimentary hotel rooms and travel scholarships for students traveling from outside New York City. Preference may be given for candidates who apply earlier in the application period.
